Paralegal

Description

Legend is hiring a Paralegal, reporting directly to our Senior Legal Counsel. This is a high-impact, centrally positioned role in our global Legal team - ideal for someone who enjoys commercial work, loves making legal processes run smoothly, and wants genuine ownership in a fast-scaling business. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and qualified solicitors to keep high-volume supplier agreements and repeatable legal processes moving at pace. You’ll support contract review and negotiation using templates and playbooks, while also strengthening how we run Legal day-to-day: intake triage, matter tracking, tooling, repositories, and the operational rhythm that keeps everything sharp.

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive supplier agreement workflow through our procurement management platform, keeping the legal stage moving, surfacing risks early, and supporting strong turnaround for the business.
  • Support the review and negotiation of supplier agreements using templates and playbooks, escalating clearly and appropriately where needed.
  • Be a business-facing legal partner: liaise confidently with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to unblock progress and land outcomes.
  • Keep matter tracking and contract lifecycle hygiene tight: reducing chasers, improving visibility, and helping the team deliver consistently.
  • Strengthen Legal tooling and repositories, improving findability, accuracy, and audit trails.
Requirements
  • A legal qualification (law degree / GDL, or equivalent experience) and a genuine interest in in-house commercial work and legal operations.
  • Experience supporting contract review (supplier/services agreements) and confidence navigating key terms (e.g. liability, termination, payment, governing law, IP).
  • Comfortable using templates/playbooks to produce clear, commercially-minded redlines under supervision - and strong judgement on when to escalate.
  • Strong organisation skills and process-driven approach: you can manage high volume, context switch, and still deliver high-quality work.
  • Stakeholder-ready communication: you set expectations, keep updates crisp, and build trust across the business.
  • A solutions-focused mindset - you spot inefficiencies and help implement practical improvements that stick.
Benefits
  • Super smart colleagues to work alongside and learn from.
  • Engaging development opportunities at all levels.
  • Tailored flexibility for your work-life balance.
  • Annual discretionary bonus to reward your efforts.
  • Paid annual leave PLUS a well-deserved break to recharge your batteries during the festive season!
  • Our offices are closed between Christmas and New Year's, allowing you to enjoy downtime without dipping into your annual allowance.
  • Exciting global Legend events, where we unite in person to ignite our shared passion and unveil the exciting strategies for the year ahead!
