Senior Business Analyst - 6 month contract
Legend is looking for a Senior Business Analyst (6 month Contract) to drive cross-functional transformation as part of a fast-paced integration programme, delivering operational excellence across Commercial, Finance, Portfolio, and Technology teams. You will create end-to-end visibility of key processes, developing clear As-Is and To-Be models to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimisation, while translating complex requirements into structured, actionable insights. Acting as a bridge between functions, you will facilitate stakeholder alignment, strengthen financial governance, and support more effective commercial decision-making. This role is focused on delivering scalable, high-performing operating models, ensuring processes are measurable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Lead end-to-end process discovery and develop clear As-Is and To-Be process maps across Commercial, Finance, and Portfolio functions
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, control gaps, and opportunities for optimisation, quantifying potential cost, performance, and risk improvements
- Define success metrics, KPIs, and measurable outcomes for process improvements
- Map and enhance core commercial and finance processes (e.g. pricing, forecasting, P2P, O2C, FP&A) to improve transparency, governance, and data integrity
- Elicit, analyse, and translate complex business requirements into structured documentation, user stories, and process models
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and SMEs to drive alignment and informed decision-making
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions are aligned to strategic and operational objectives
- Support implementation of process improvements, including system enhancements, change adoption, and benefits realisation
- Advanced process mapping expertise (BPMN, swimlanes, value stream mapping) and strong process literacy
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, structured process models and documentation
- Strong understanding of Commercial, Finance, and Portfolio operating models, with the ability to link improvements to financial impact
- Experience in data analysis, KPI design, and risk/control assessment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and aligning senior stakeholders
- Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive consensus
- Structured, outcome-focused approach with strong problem-solving and execution discipline
- Continuous improvement mindset, with experience delivering scalable transformation and governance outcomes
- Proven experience working on M&A activity and post-acquisition integrations is highly desirable
