QC Inspector I
Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe. The person in this position performs required quality audits to ensure designed specifications and custom requirements are met. They are part of a response team that initiates an investigation when quality concerns arise on the production floor. Responsible to enter incident reports and work directly with quality engineers to coordinate resolutions.
- Reads test schedules, work orders, and performance specifications to determine audit procedure
- Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration in allotted time
- Records audit results and notes assembly deficiencies
- Tags and tallies all defective material
- Creates Quality Incident reports for nonconforming product
- Quarantines damaged and malfunctioning components
- Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding audit procedures and results to resolve problems
- One to three years technical experience
- Ability to properly read work orders, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic computer and windows skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of game testing/configuration fundamentals
