Payroll Specialist

- Manage payroll preparation and validation processes in collaboration with external payroll providers
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution across multiple countries (Greece, Malta, Ireland, Cyprus, Mexico, Brazil)
- Perform detailed payroll checks, reconciliations, and variance analysis before final approval
- Collect, review, and validate payroll inputs (e.g. hires, terminations, bonuses, absences, benefits)
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, with strong focus on Greek legislation
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees and internal teams in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare payroll reports, analytics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Support audits by providing accurate payroll data and documentation
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in payroll processes and controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 3–4+ years of experience in payroll, ideally in a multinational environment (required)
- Strong knowledge of Greek payroll legislation and labor law (required)
- Exposure to multi-country payroll (EU and/or LATAM is a plus) (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical mindset (required)
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (required)
- Advanced Excel skills (required)
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (required)
