Senior Campaigns Executive

Description

Working within the Campaigns team, you will strategise, onboard and manage external partnerships that drive forward our brand proposition, attracting new audiences and enhancing current customers’ experiences. You will have broad responsibility to bring communications and marketing activity to life to meet both brand and commercial objectives, including raising awareness of the brand and driving new customer account acquisition and betting conversion alike. You will provide support to the different areas within the Marketing team such as Affiliate, CRM, Social, Campaigns and Video Production.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of third-party partnership campaigns across Racing Post marketing channels.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for third-party partners, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and to agreed objectives.
  • Translate partner briefs and commercial objectives into compelling, audience-first marketing campaigns that align with Racing Post’s brand values.
  • Ensure all partner activity is integrated seamlessly into Racing Post’s wider marketing calendar and campaign roadmap.
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns in collaboration with the wider Campaigns team, including editorial, product marketing, CRM, social, paid media and onsite teams.
  • Manage campaign timelines, dependencies and approvals to ensure flawless execution across all touchpoints.
  • Ensure campaigns are creatively engaging, consistently executed and deliver a high-quality user experience.
  • Maintain clear documentation, briefs and campaign playbooks to support consistent delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, editorial, design, product, commercial and compliance teams to deliver joined-up campaigns.
  • Act as a central coordinator to align teams around shared goals, deadlines and priorities.
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers or conflicts and resolve them to maintain campaign momentum.
  • Learn how to deliver flawless execution of Racing Post marketing campaigns across all key media channels.
  • Analyse the results of marketing activity to help guide future improvement of campaigns for revenue-driving channels.
  • Plan, schedule and execute detailed affiliate marketing plans around the key sporting and racing festival events (Cheltenham, Aintree, Euros, Royal Ascot).
  • Flawless execution of all Spotlight Sports Group campaigns assisting the Senior Campaigns Manager in rolling these out across all key media channels.
Requirements
  • Experience delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns, ideally within a sports or sports betting industry.
  • Ability to manage third-party or commercial partnerships, including translating partner objectives into effective marketing activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-channel campaigns, working across teams such as editorial, design, CRM, social, paid media and product.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Passion for delivering engaging, audience-first marketing, with a strong understanding of how campaigns contribute to wider commercial goals.
  • Sports knowledge and understanding of sports betting is essential
  • An understanding or interest in horse racing would be beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and a commitment to collaborate with people
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
