Business Applications Engineer (Integrations & Reporting)
In this exciting time of scaling our product and innovating the company with best-in-class business applications, we are looking for a Business Applications Engineer to join our growing team! In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and creating reports and integrations in relation to Super's business applications portfolio.
- Develop, configure, and maintain integrations.
- Serve as a functional advisor for Finance reporting processes in D365 (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Projects, etc.).
- Support Finance teams during month-end, year-end, and ongoing operational improvements within reporting and analytics.
- Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, and UAT.
- Identify opportunities to streamline Finance workflows using automation and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Applications, IT, and Finance leaders on roadmap execution.
- Maintain documentation, integration diagrams, and operational handbooks.
- Design, build, and optimize Financial and Operational reports using: Power BI, Microsoft Fabric / Data Lakehouse, D365 FinOps data entities & reporting framework
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.
- Establish and maintain data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
- Develop, configure, and maintain integrations between D365 FINOPS, EPM tools, Fabric.
- Take ownership over development, deployment and change management (DevOps and Jira).
- Strong understanding of Finance processes (Accounting, FP&A, Controlling, Reporting).
- Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders and translating requirements.
- Experience in implementing ERP solutions (preferable Dynamics Navision, Business Central or Finance).
- Hands‑on experience with D365 Finance & Operations or other Dynamics ERP systems (AX 2009/2012, D365 BC).
- Experience creating integrations using: D365 Data Entities, Azure Logic Apps / Azure Functions (preferred) OData, REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Power BI , Microsoft Fabric , and data modeling.
- Large-scale data processing with PySpark
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Ability to operate independently and lead small initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical and problem-solving oriented mind.
- Preferably a master's degree, minimum a bachelor's degree
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Base in Zagreb, Bucharest, Madrid, or Malta
