Junior GL Accountant Napoleon

As our business grows, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, modern environment.
- Assist in the maintenance and control of the general ledger under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Assist in preparing month-end closing tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Help calculate and record basic depreciation and accruals.
- Support the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies and internal management.
- Stay updated on Belgian accounting laws (BE-GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Assist with various operational tasks within the accounting and finance department as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in accounting; internship experience is a plus.
- Experience with office tools (e.g., Google Workspace and MS Office), including knowledge of pivot tables.
- Experience with Business Central is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is highly preferred for the Belgian market.
