Technical Lead - Angular / AI
As a Tech Lead, you will lead the technical direction and delivery of frontend solutions built with Angular, leading teams through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will combine hands-on development, technical leadership, and people management to deliver high-quality, scalable products. You will help embed AI-assisted development practices into everyday engineering workflows. Using AI tools responsibly, you will accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enhance decision-making across design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Design, deploy moderately to complex frontend features using Angular and modern web technologies.
- Manage delivery across design, implementation, testing, release, and production support.
- Lead technical design discussions, RFCs, and architectural decision-making.
- Debug and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments, being the primary on-call escalation point.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, performant, and aligned with platform and architectural standards.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and debugging prompts) to promote collaboration and quality.
- Define and promote best practices for prompt engineering, validation of AI-generated outputs, and safe usage of AI.
- Use AI to support code reviews, technical analysis, performance optimization, and incident investigation-while ensuring human accountability and quality control.
- Explore and champion opportunities to integrate AI into frontend workflows, automation, and developer experience projects.
- Enforce clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code aligned with engineering standards.
- Promote secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and performance optimization.
- Champion CI/CD best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Ensure observability through logging and monitoring.
- Set and communicate clear technical and delivery goals aligned with business strategy.
- Manage story lifecycles, dependencies, and priorities in collaboration with Product, QA, and other Tech Leads.
- Develop engineers, encouraging a learning-focused team culture.
- Lead team ceremonies, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and technical assessment of new team members.

- Hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend development practices. (required)
- Proficiency in distributed systems, object-oriented design, and data structures. (required)
- Experience with SDLC, API integration, and relational databases (SQL). (required)
- Experience with clean code principles, version control, and application monitoring. (required)
- Knowledge of software testing strategies, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines. (required)
- Familiarity with performance optimization, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments. (preferred)
- Experience working with microservices and event-driven architectures. (required)
- Grasp of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery. (required)
- Experience with Java and modern backend frameworks. (required)
- Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and vulnerability management. (required)
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in professional software development. (required)
- Evaluate, validate, and safely integrate AI-generated code and recommendations. (required)
- Interest in prompt engineering, automation, and AI-driven developer productivity. (preferred)
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners. (required)

- Salary Range: $173,100 - $207,700
