QA Test Automation - Apprenticeship M/F
As part of our development, we are looking for a QA Automation Apprentice with a focus on testing, for a minimum duration of 1 year, within the Retail Open Services (ROS) department. You will join the Retail server team, responsible for developing Java applications dedicated to lottery systems and Point of Sale services, at the heart of FG2S France's IT activities, a subsidiary of FDJ UNITED located in Boulogne-Billancourt. Actively contribute to the quality, robustness, and maintainability of our server applications by developing and improving API and UI automated tests, in close collaboration with the development teams.
- Develop automated test scripts for critical application functionalities.
- Participate in the implementation and evolution of a modular and maintainable test architecture.
- Integrate and execute test scripts in CI/CD tools and pipelines (Git, Maven, Kubernetes, Xray).
- Validate developments through executions in test environments.
- Audit and refactor existing code by applying SOLID principles and ISTQB best practices.
- Ongoing BAC+5 level education (Master's or Engineering school) in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
- Good foundation in object-oriented programming, ideally in Java; knowledge of HTML, shell, and Unix/Linux scripting is a plus.
- Initial exposure to frontend and/or API automated testing (Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, or equivalent) and test management tools (e.g., Xray / JIRA).
- Qualities of rigor, curiosity, autonomy, a good eye for detail, and a real team spirit.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Solid supervision, with the support of a senior developer and the department's Lead QA to support your skill development.
- You will evolve within a human-sized, collaborative team that is technically demanding and focused on continuous improvement.
