QA Engineer

Description

The company is looking for a QA Engineer to join an ambitious team. The successful candidate will complete manual test cases and test scenarios with precision. They will assist in crafting and maintaining comprehensive test plans and documentation. They will identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle, and verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.

Collaboration with developers, Product Owners, and QA team members is essential to ensure outstanding product quality. The role involves participation in test planning, sprint activities, and release validation. Support for automation testing activities under the mentorship of senior QA engineers is also a key aspect. The candidate will investigate and reproduce reported issues to determine their root cause and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices. Support for production issue investigations will be required when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Complete manual test cases and test scenarios with precision.
  • Assist in crafting and maintaining comprehensive test plans and documentation.
  • Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and QA team members to ensure outstanding product quality.
  • Participate in test planning, sprint activities, and release validation.
  • Support automation testing activities under the mentorship of senior QA engineers.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field (required).
  • Solid understanding of software development and testing fundamentals (required).
  • Internship, university projects, or practical QA experience (nice-to-have).
  • Basic understanding of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies (required).
  • Familiarity with writing and accomplishing test cases (required).
  • Fundamental understanding of web applications, APIs, and client-server architecture (required).
  • Exposure to bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) (nice-to-have).
  • Fundamental understanding of automation testing concepts (beneficial).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript (a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking (required).
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills (required).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills (required).
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving approach (required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment (required).
  • Dedication to software quality and consistent advancement (required).
  • Fundamental understanding of Playwright or other automation frameworks (nice-to-have).
  • Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman (nice-to-have).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies (nice-to-have).
  • Interest in automation, performance testing, and modern QA practices (nice-to-have).
