Design Automation Specialist

Description

We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day. Our creative department is undergoing a fundamental transformation in how it works. We're building a team of Design Automation Specialists embedded directly with our internal studio to develop AI workflows that will become the foundation of our creative pipeline. The Design Automations Specialist will work closely with the Creative Department to design, build, and implement automation workflows across graphic and motion design pipelines. This role focuses on leveraging advanced tools, including generative AI, to streamline production and unlock new creative capabilities. The position requires a strong systems mindset and effective coaching: identifying inefficiencies, breaking down complex processes, and translating them into scalable, repeatable workflows adopted by the wider team. Success will be measured by the number of workflows transformed and adopted in the studio, and the extent to which designers start any task with an AI tool.

Responsibilities
  • Build custom tools, agents, automations, and skills tailored to static and motion design projects.
  • Integrate generative AI tools into creative production pipelines.
  • Analyze existing workflows, document the highest-leverage workflow transformations by deeply understanding the processes and requirements.
  • Build structured, repeatable systems that improve efficiency and output quality.
  • Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leads to align solutions with creative goals.
  • Coach and partner with each designer through a progressive journey, from awareness, to regular AI integration, to full workflow transformation.
  • Document workflows clearly for internal use and scalability.
  • Share wins within the creative department and with leadership, to celebrate success and build momentum.
  • Drive adoption of implemented workflows across the Creative Department.
  • Continuously test, refine, and improve automation systems based on team feedback and performance.
Requirements
  • Traditional design tools: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects or Premiere.
  • Enterprise-level access to leading AI models and platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others.
  • Access to a wide ecosystem of generative AI (image and video) tools and automation frameworks.
  • Strong systematic and analytical thinking; able to break down complex problems into structured solutions.
  • Experience working with graphic design and motion design pipelines.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into practical tools for creative teams.
  • Great coach and communicator, that can create desire for progress, adapting the approach to each person.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally within a creative environment.
  • Proactive, experimentation-driven mindset.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Case studies describing processes, tools, and workflows used.
  • Examples of automation, AI integration, or workflow optimization projects.
  • Experience with scripting or no-code/low-code automation tools.
  • Familiarity with creative coding or procedural design.
  • Background in production pipelines or creative operations.
  • A track record of effective coaching and mentoring, with evidence of genuine workflow transformation.
