IT Operations Intern

We are looking for a passionate and talented IT Intern to join Tencent’s Europe IT Center in Amsterdam. You will work closely with our IT Operations and Infra support teams to explore how AI can transform IT workflows, automate processes, and enhance user support efficiency through intelligent tools and chatbots.

• Execute day-to-day IT infrastructure and IT system operations, providing high-quality user tech support to identify real-world pain points and operational gaps.
• Support the design and documentation of IT operational workflows, identifying opportunities for AI and automation improvement.
• Participate in the development of internal AI-powered IT Chatbots, including data integration, API creation, and backend logic implementation.
• Assist in creating automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce repetitive manual tasks.
• Collaborate with IT engineers to prototype and deploy automation or AI-based solutions in real business scenarios.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and optimization for AI models or automation tools.
• Help maintain internal knowledge bases and build intelligent FAQ/self-service systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, including system diagrams, APIs, and workflow descriptions.

• You speak fluent English and Mandarin.
• You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• You have strong programming skills, preferably in Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• You have experience or interest in building and using APIs, automation frameworks, or chatbot platforms (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, RPA tools).
• You are familiar with IT service workflows, ticketing systems, or process automation concepts.
• You are a quick learner, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• You are available for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
• You can commit to 5 days working from our office in Amsterdam.
