Financial Controller
The Financial Controller will join the finance team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. This role involves analysing current and past financial data and performance, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis, and identifying trends.
The Financial Controller will prepare reports on the above information and communicate the insights of these reports to the wider business. Responsibilities also include downloading, analysing, and managing data from payment providers, analysing deposits, refunds, chargebacks, and fees, and foreign exchange operations planning and maintenance.
Further duties involve maintaining current bank accounts and being responsible for opening new ones, reconciliation of banks and payment providers’ balances on a daily and monthly basis, and investigation of transaction and balance discrepancies. The role also includes reviewing content providers’ invoices and preparing gambling commission reports as per the relevant Gambling commissions requirements and regulatory rules. The Financial Controller will coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance.

- Download, analyse, manage data from payment providers (PayPal and other).
- Analyse deposits, refunds, chargebacks, fees.
- Foreign exchange operations planning and maintaining.
- Maintain current bank accounts and responsible for opening new ones.
- Reconciliation of banks and payment providers’ balances on a daily and monthly basis.
- Investigation of transaction and balance discrepancies.
- Review content providers (casino games, sports feeds, platform providers, other) invoices.
- Prepare gambling commission reports as per the relevant Gambling commissions requirements and regulatory rules.
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
- BA Degree in Economics or Business (required)
- At least 2 years work experience in a finance department (required)
- Industry experience is an advantage (preferred)
- Be highly motivated and has good problem solving and analytical skills (required)
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented and dynamic work environment (required)
