Data Engineering Team Leader
Evoke is seeking a Data Engineering Team Leader to join the Vault Development Team. This role focuses on data development within the compliance domain, involving both new development and the maintenance of existing processes. The position emphasises data quality, scalability, reliability, and performance as the company transitions from legacy on-premise systems to a modern, cloud-native data platform.
The successful candidate will work at the core of Evoke’s data ecosystem, tackling engineering challenges and contributing to the future of the data platform. The role requires close collaboration with Data product and Compliance teams to manage regulatory processes and deliver high-scale back-end data solutions.
- Manage a team of Data Developers & QA members.
- Take full responsibility for delivery of the development & QA tasks assigned to the team.
- Be responsible for Data Regulatory processes working closely with Data product and Compliance.
- Get familiar with both team technology and business requirements.
- Working with high scale databases and providing Back-End Data solution from design phase, Development, and Delivery.
- Develop new Data Processes using Microsoft SSIS, Apache Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, and more.
- Working with various stakeholders and applications across the company.
- At least 1 year experience as Team Leader position in Data engineering related fields (required).
- At least 3 years of Experience in design and development of ETL processes in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (required).
- At least 3 years of experience with ETL development on a large scale DWH environments like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure (required).
- Experience in Data development technologies like; DBT, Airflow (required).
- Experience in CI/CD methodology (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IS Engineering / Related field (required).
- Highly motivated and independent (required).
- High English language skills (required).
- Experience in GitLab (nice-to-have).
- Experience in Python (nice-to-have).
- Experience in AWS cloud ENV (nice-to-have).
