Senior Data Engineer
Evoke is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering Team. Data is central to Evoke's operations, and the Data Technologies Group ensures data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. The team is undergoing a technology transformation, moving from legacy on-premise systems to a modern, cloud-native data platform using technologies like AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.
As a Data Engineer on the Cross Development Team, you will be part of this transformation, designing and developing robust backend data solutions that integrate a wide range of data sources. You will own solutions from development through production, with a strong focus on data quality, scalability, reliability, and performance. This is an opportunity to work at the core of Evoke’s data ecosystem, tackle meaningful engineering challenges, and help shape the future of the data platform. You will be part of the Data Engineers team working in Agile methodology.
What you'll be doing:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex ETL processes and data-driven solutions. You will work with high-scale databases and provide backend BI solutions from the design phase through development and up to implementation. You will also work with various stakeholders and applications across the company.
- Designing and developing complex ETL processes and data-driven solutions.
- Working with high-scale databases and providing backend BI solutions from design phase, through development and up to implementation.
- Developing complex Data Pipelines using Microsoft ETL technologies (SSIS).
- Developing new Data Processes using Apache Airflow, DBT & Snowflake.
- Working with various stakeholders and applications across the company.
- At least 3 years of experience with large-scale DWH environments (required).
- At least 3 years of experience in design and development of ETL processes in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (required).
- Strong background in writing SQL queries and procedures (required).
- High English language skills (required).
- Experience in DBT / Apache Airflow (nice-to-have).
- Experience in Snowflake (nice-to-have).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IS Engineering / Related field (required).
- Experience working in Agile methodology (required).
