Billing Manager

Description

The Billing Manager will oversee invoicing, payment status reviews, and debt collection for clients. This role involves generating monthly revenue analytics and cash collection forecasts to present insights to senior financial leadership.

The Billing Manager will partner with Customer Success leadership to track payment statuses and manage aging debt escalation. A key responsibility is to drive the automation of internal billing processes by defining requirements and collaborating with the Head of Customer Success to enhance the proprietary billing platform.

Preparation of reports and monthly breakdowns of revenue to the Cyprus and US accountants is also required. The Billing Manager will control revenue accounting in the separate accounts of the companies of the Group and manage multi-entity bank reconciliations for US, Cyprus, and Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee invoicing, payment status reviews, and debt collection for 500+ low-touch clients, alongside customized invoice creation for high-touch accounts.
  • Generate monthly revenue analytics and cash collection forecasts to present insights directly to the Financial Controller and CFO.
  • Partner with Customer Success leadership to track payment statuses, manage aging debt escalation, and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Drive the automation of internal billing processes by defining requirements and collaborating with the Head of CS to enhance the proprietary billing platform.
  • Preparation of reports and monthly breakdowns of revenue to the Cyprus and US accountants.
  • Control of the revenue accounting in the separate accounts of the companies of the Group.
  • Manage multi-entity bank reconciliations for US, Cyprus, and Germany, maintain vendor payment schedules, and deliver monthly revenue breakdowns to international accountants.
Requirements
  • Fluent Russian and at least B2 English level (required).
  • Financial bachelor degree (required).
  • Experience of 2-3 years in the tech company or similar fast-driven business (Big4) (required).
  • Great technical skills to support automated processes (advanced Excel user) (required).
  • Highly attentive to details, working with money and numbers (required).
