Accountant
Aristocrat is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. The role focuses on ensuring financial operations are accurate and streamlined within a dynamic and ambitious workplace environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records and supporting the broader finance team in implementing financial strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work at a world-class level within an experienced team.
- Handle primary accounting documents such as invoices, bank statements, and more.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the D365 ERP system.
- Manage the AP cycle, including recording invoices, preparing payments, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to banking, customer, vendor, and accruals.
- Prepare the trial balance and other materials for month-end close.
- Participate in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports.
- Assist with statutory and tax audits.
- Work in tandem with the company's finance team members to successfully implement financial strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualified or equivalent (required)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting (required)
- Proven experience in monthly and year-end closing processes (required)
- Experience in D365 or other ERP systems (nice-to-have)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (required)
- Proficient in Excel (required)
- Well-organised, motivated, and capable of working with limited supervision (required)
