Description

The BI & Data Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting a subset of Aristocrat Interactive's reporting and analytics ecosystem. This role combines Power BI development, reporting data management, and finance reporting automation to ensure partners have access to accurate, actionable, and trusted information.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Commercial Teams, Finance, Account Managers, and Engineering teams to deliver dashboards, maintain reporting data structures, validate reporting outputs, and support critical business processes that rely on analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models supporting commercial, financial, and customer reporting.
  • Enhance existing reporting solutions through new features, measures, visualizations, and performance improvements, based on business requirements.
  • Handle report refreshes, workspace content, security roles, and user access within Power BI environments.
  • Fix reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies impacting business collaborators.
  • Maintain and support SQL-based reporting data structures including views, tables, reporting models, and semantic layers.
  • Support data quality initiatives by identifying, investigating, and resolving data integrity issues.
  • Support operational reporting processes that rely on SQL Server, Analysis Services models, and downstream reporting datasets.
  • Assist with onboarding new products, operators, vendors, and reporting requirements by ensuring required reporting logic and data structures are available.
  • Support automated finance reporting and invoicing that provide critical business outputs for Finance teams, through PowerBI, PowerApps and SQL based reporting solutions.
  • Maintain reporting logic used to support financial reporting including revenue, profit, fees, tax, bonus, promotions, invoicing, and operational performance indicators.
  • Find opportunities to improve automation, reduce manual processing, and enhance reporting efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or related field. (required)
  • Proven ability in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, or Data Analysis roles. (required)
  • Strong hands-on Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard development, report optimization, and workspace management. (required)
  • Advanced SQL skills including query development, procedure generation, fixing issues, validation, and performance optimization. (required)
  • Experience with semantic models, tabular models, Analysis Services, or similar business intelligence modeling technologies. (required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Visual Studio/Analysis Services, KNIME, or other semantic model and business intelligence modeling tools. (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake or other SQL-based platforms. (preferred)
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting data flows. (preferred)
  • Experience with PowerApps and advanced Excel reporting solutions. (preferred)
  • Basic Python scripting experience. (preferred)
