Description

Aristocrat is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure the organisation meets all regulatory requirements within the gaming industry. The role involves building effective communication channels with business partners across multiple jurisdictions and addressing evolving anti-money laundering challenges in the iGaming field.

The Compliance Officer will advise on maintaining adherence to all applicable laws and procedures. This position offers the opportunity to help shape the future of the compliance framework while working as part of a world-class team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct business partners Due Diligence research, adverse checks, and documentary analysis in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform case analysis to a high standard, outlining all relevant information concisely for recommendations.
  • Identify and bring up high-risk accounts at the earliest opportunity.
  • Keep up to date with changes in the gaming regulatory environment and share these with management, offering recommendations as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence addressed to business partners and administrative bodies.
  • Report to the Compliance Due Diligence Manager, ensuring high performance and knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Navigate public databases and internal systems to identify and verify due diligence information.
  • Report regulatory incidents promptly and accurately.
  • Support operational functionality of regulatory compliance, new business authorisations, prevention of financial crime, and internal audit services.
  • Maintain registers and records required by regulatory authorities and internal processes.
  • Generate pertinent returns and notifications for business partners, communicating and meeting with them as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy (required).
  • Demonstrates careful attention when identifying AML/CTF risks (required).
  • Strong organisational skills to balance workloads and meet deadlines (required).
  • Previous experience in EDD/AML roles in iGaming (nice-to-have).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal (required).
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a large compliance team (required).
  • ICA/ACAMS or equivalent AML qualification (nice-to-have).
