Aristocrat Interactive is seeking a Project Program Manager to join their team and contribute to building the future of data-driven decision-making. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with a world-class team and align Aristocrat’s objectives with the EMEA centre of excellence. The team supports partner needs, leads project intake, offers tech mentorship, and implements process upgrades.
The successful candidate will lead projects within the Interactive portfolio, collaborating with both business and technical leaders to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Lead all aspects of the planning, execution, and delivery of data initiatives.
- Develop project charters, handle program plans, and ensure timely delivery across initiatives.
- Set performance indicators and success benchmarks for primary data services and data product initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to lead data product lifecycle phases.
- Translate detailed business requirements into precise technical scopes and user stories for data engineering teams.
- Ensure customer needs are incorporated into the build.
- Apply Agile principles to prioritise and refine backlogs, conduct sprint ceremonies, and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with product managers, analysts, and data consumers to prioritise and develop reusable data assets and self-service capabilities that enable business innovation.
- Maintain forward-looking roadmaps for platform capabilities and domain-specific data products.
- Build product feature roadmaps that balance business priorities, delivery timelines, and team capacity.
- Champion customer-centric and quality-focused delivery, measuring business impact and usability of data products.
- Collaborate with product leaders, data stewards, and governance teams to ensure products meet regulatory, compliance, and ethical data use standards.
- Develop leadership dashboards, presentations, and steering committee updates to ensure portfolio visibility, including project health and wins.
- Proven record to define, scope, and manage sophisticated programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery within timeline, budget, and quality standards (required).
- Expertise in coordinating a portfolio of initiatives, with the ability to consolidate, analyse, and report on program health, status, and impact (required).
- A consistent record of applying Agile principles to promote iterative progress and adaptability (required).
- Proficiency with JIRA, Smartsheet, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project) (required).
- Ability to evaluate incoming requests, prioritise based on organisational needs, and make data-informed decisions (required).
- Demonstrated ability to work optimally with multiple teams and collaborators, encouraging a collaborative and aligned environment (required).
- 8+ years of experience (required).
- Delivery of enterprise data platforms, analytics platforms, or data engineering solutions (preferred).
- Experience coordinating large-scale platform migrations or modernisation initiatives (preferred).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release management, and software deployment practices (preferred).
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance principles (preferred).
- Experience working within globally distributed engineering organisations (preferred).
