Frontend Developer/Game Developer
The company is seeking a dedicated Games Developer to join the team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role focuses on the design and development of engaging mobile and web-based games on HTML5 platforms.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life. The position requires a focus on ensuring top performance, scalability, and a high-quality user experience across various devices and browsers.
- Build, develop, and maintain mobile and web games using HTML5 and JavaScript.
- Build and enhance web applications and supporting infrastructures.
- Collaborate with artists, product managers, and other developers to translate creative concepts into high-quality interactive experiences.
- Optimize games for performance across devices, browsers, and platforms.
- Participate in team discussions regarding development, architecture, and standard methodologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Demonstrated proficiency (3+ years of experience) in developing HTML5-based games for mobile and web platforms (required).
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript development (required).
- Solid understanding of cross-platform porting for mobile devices and browsers (required).
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies (required).
- Effective communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mentality (required).
- Hands-on experience with PIXI framework (nice-to-have).
- Proficiency in TypeScript (nice-to-have).
- Experience with Spine animations (nice-to-have).
- Background in game performance optimization and interactive systems (nice-to-have).
