QA Engineer
Aristocrat Interactive invites an Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This role is for a QA specialist skilled in manual testing and growing in automation, dedicated to producing high-quality software and improving testing approaches.
As part of the team, the engineer will participate in developing innovative products, collaborate with expert colleagues, and contribute to the steady advancement of QA processes.
- Develop, maintain, and complete test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing across web applications and APIs.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests using existing automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and other QA team members.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation activities.
- Reproduce reported issues and assist development teams during troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
- Investigate and document production issues when required.
- Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates.
- 3+ years proven experience in Quality Assurance (required).
- Strong hands-on experience with manual quality assurance processes (required).
- A minimum of 1 year experience in automated testing (required).
- Experience with Playwright (UI automation), API testing, TestRail, and Git (required).
- Basic TypeScript knowledge (required).
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing (required).
- Test case creation and execution (required).
- Bug lifecycle and defect management (required).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., K6) (nice-to-have).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Excellent attention to detail (required).
- Good communication and collaboration skills (required).
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve (required).
- Proactive attitude and strong ownership of assigned tasks (required).
- Passion for software quality and delivering reliable products (required).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have).
