Sr Animator II

The role involves overseeing animation duties in India and being part of a compact team tasked with developing and preserving creative assets. The animator will respond to remote direction and make changes promptly as requested, adding customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept through pre-production, production, and post-production. They will provide consistent high-quality animations on innovative gaming products as directed by the Chief Concept Creator & Art Director and review games to verify all animations supplied.
- Collaborate with the UberWins Studio team to build outstanding animations for Class III games.
- Provide and incorporate feedback positively to deliver engaging visuals for players.
- Develop top-quality FX and particle animations, contributing to the best games in the industry.
- Ensure consistency and maintain the quality of animations and promo video build work across project teams.
- Comprehend animation briefs and feedback quickly, conceptualizing and producing high-quality animations.
- Act as an essential part of the team overseeing animation duties in India.
- Respond to remote direction and make changes promptly as requested.
- Add customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept through pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Provide consistent high-quality animations on innovative gaming products as directed by the Chief Concept Creator & Art Director.
- Review games you are working on and verify all animations supplied.
- Highly motivated and self-organised individuals with a passion for crafting outstanding artwork (required).
- Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D animation skills along with animation principles (required).
- High proficiency in working with essential art packages and plugins including Adobe Aftereffects, Maxon Red Giant Trapcode, Esoteric Spine, 3D, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Maya (required).
- Solid grasp of the digital environment (required).
- Strong English and communication skills (required).
- Flexibility to adapt to changes quickly and easily (required).
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with the art team, technical artists, game designers, and engineers (required).
- Excellent file organisation and adherence to established processes for asset creation, management, and output configuration (required).
- Demonstrates integrity and organisational behaviour (required).
- At least 7 years of experience working with relevant computer programs (required).
- At least 7 years of experience in a commercial art setting, accompanied by relevant skills and industry knowledge (required).
- A demo reel showcasing your expertise (required).
- Great attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously (required).
- Solid grasp of art and animation principles (required).
- Unity experience is an added advantage (nice-to-have).
