Sr Animator II
This role contributes to innovative game animation production and the creation of promotional videos throughout the production cycle. It ensures consistency and maintains the quality of animations and promo video build work across project teams.
The individual will comprehend animation briefs and feedback quickly, conceptualising and producing quality animations. They will be a seeding member of a team handling animation tasks and later be part of a small team responsible for building and maintaining creations.
This position requires responsiveness to remote direction and timely changes as requested, with the ability to communicate complex animation issues succinctly. The role adds customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept and pre-production to post-production. It provides consistent high-quality animations on innovative gaming products as briefed and directed by the Chief Concept Creator and Art Director.
The individual will fully understand game rules, mechanics, functionality, and key features to build an animation list and plan choreography. They will conduct in-depth reviews of games regularly, verify all supplied animations, and raise and resolve any observations. Coordination with various functions is required to plan games, resolve game-related issues, and ensure smooth operations. The role also involves developing astonishing products and contributing to co-workers' skill development in a seeding role.

- Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D animation skills along with animation principles (required).
- Strong proficiency in producing results with essential art software and plugins, such as Adobe Aftereffects, Maxon Red Giant Trapcode, Esoteric Spine, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Maya (required).
- Good English communication skills (required).
- Adaptive behaviour and the ability to undertake tasks flexibly (required).
- Responsible demeanour demonstrating integrity and organisational behaviour (required).
- At least 7 years of experience working with relevant computer programs (required).
- At least 7 years of experience in a commercial art setting with applicable skills (required).
