Sr Engineer II
Aristocrat is looking for a Senior Engineer II to join its engineering team to develop software solutions for the gaming industry. The role focuses on building high-quality products and ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment to design, implement, and support software applications. This position involves contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and ongoing support.
- Build high-quality software products and solutions in a vibrant engineering atmosphere.
- Build and implement applications using C++ on Linux-based platforms.
- Apply object-oriented design principles, software patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Troubleshoot, improve efficiency, and support scalable and consistent software systems.
- Work together with multiple departments to examine technical issues and identify solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure alignment with current engineering methods.
- Apply automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Handle version control systems and implement Agile development methodologies.
- Conduct requirements analysis, build, implementation, deployment, and support of software solutions.
- Continuously improve engineering practices and stay updated with new technologies.
- Verified expertise in building software products and offering high-quality results in an engineering atmosphere (required).
- Proven expertise in C++ programming and developing software on Linux platforms (required).
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented principles, software patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture concepts (required).
- Experience in designing, diagnosing, refining, and sustaining scalable and trustworthy software systems (required).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, building, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support (required).
- Experience with contemporary engineering methods, including code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), version control systems, and Agile development methodologies (required).
- Ability to assess technical challenges, identify solutions, and work collaboratively to provide business and customer value (required).
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience, or Master's degree or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).
