Sr Engineer - Workday Integration
We are looking a Sr Engineer I - Workday Integration. Contribute to integration projects and deliver solutions. Collaborate as part of an encouraging delivery team while independently driving end-to-end development: requirements gathering, integration design, prototyping, testing (Integration/UAT), and user training. Scope, design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Cloud Connect, RaaS, report writer, calculated fields, and web services (SOAP/REST/XML/XSLT). Participate in code and solution reviews, supporting both new builds and the optimization or remediation of existing interfaces. Contribute to our ongoing support model, including root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and iterative improvements of legacy integrations. Collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts across HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure solutions are scalable and supportable. Define integration strategies aligned with complex HR/payroll/Benefits processes across global systems. Complete system testing, error handling, and data transformation logic. Use your prior experience to anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues. Show capability to work independently, owning integration tasks from concept to deployment, identifying risks, resolving issues, and improving continuously. Understand customer requirements and participate with the project team on the most appropriate system’s integration approaches based on customer landscape and desired outcomes. - 5+ years of Workday Integration Development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle Workday Studio integrations (design → support).
- Demonstrated success delivering Payroll & Benefits integrations.
- Proven understanding of HR/Payroll processes and system landscapes.
- Experience with agile methodologies and enterprise transformation.
- Sophisticated knowledge of Workday Studio and PECI.
- Experience with projects involving multiple systems, playing a cross-system role, and resolving functional/architectural/technical issues.
