Sr Lead Animator
At Aristocrat, the Sr Lead Animator will guide the production of seamless animations and promo videos that captivate audiences globally. This role contributes significantly to a dynamic team within a supportive and inclusive setting where creativity and experience are highly valued.
The Sr Lead Animator will direct and coordinate the development of high-quality animations and promo videos throughout the production cycle, ensuring consistency and quality across projects while maintaining world-class standards. The role involves comprehending animation briefs and feedback swiftly, conceptualising and producing outstanding animations, and handling animation tasks. The professional will add customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept to post-production and work closely with the Chief Concept Creator and Art Director/Lead to deliver high-quality animations for innovative gaming products. Conceptualising new animations in line with given briefs and continuously striving for improvement are key aspects of this position.
- Direct and coordinate the development of high-quality animations and promo videos throughout the production cycle.
- Ensure consistency and quality of animations across projects, maintaining world-class standards.
- Comprehend animation briefs and feedback swiftly, conceptualising and producing outstanding animations.
- Handle animation tasks and contribute to building and maintaining creations, responding promptly to remote direction.
- Add customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept to post-production.
- Work closely with the Chief Concept Creator and Art Director/Lead to deliver high-quality animations for innovative gaming products.
- Conceptualise new animations in line with given briefs, continuously striving for improvement.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a commercial art environment using related programs/tools (required).
- Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D animation skills and principles (required).
- High proficiency in using key art packages and plugins such as Adobe After Effects, Maxon Red Giant Trapcode, Esoteric Spine, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Maya (required).
- Strong English communication skills with adaptive behaviour (required).
- Motivated, self-organised, and responsible great teammate with a passion for crafting outstanding artwork (required).
