Sr Security Engineer (DLP)
Aristocrat is seeking a committed and experienced Sr Security Engineer (DLP) to join the Security Architecture and Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring robust security and safeguarding gaming infrastructure through the implementation of advanced security measures.
The position offers the opportunity to work with powerful technology in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the selection, deployment, and maintenance of security controls while addressing the latest cyber threats.
- Drive the selection, testing, deployment, management, maintenance, and operationalization of Aristocrat security controls.
- Apply strong expertise on Microsoft Purview DLP Configuration, Management and Monitoring.
- Bring to bear cybersecurity engineering skills to support programs, proposals, and corporate objectives.
- Partner with cybersecurity operations for continuous control improvement activities.
- Provide timely, accurate, and impactful updates regarding the status and deployment of security controls to executive-level management.
- Develop conceptual and logical approaches to support the deployment of safeguards within Aristocrat environments.
- Consult and collaborate with collaborators, asset owners, and IT teams to advance security initiatives across the enterprise.
- Define and implement the setup of security measures for endpoints, cloud environments, DevSecOps, product security, and identity platforms.
- Provide domain expertise on cybersecurity strategies and identify areas of opportunity to optimise security controls.
- Stay abreast of the latest emerging security trends, technologies, and threats to recommend improvements to Aristocrat's security posture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area (required).
- Over 10 years of pertinent experience (required).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on building, implementation, and management of security solutions (required).
- Demonstrated experience in working with a geographically dispersed team (required).
- Solid understanding and demonstrated experience with SIEM platforms, data streaming platforms, network security, EDR systems, Cloud Security, and IAM principles (required).
- Expert knowledge of information security technologies, networking, cloud, and infrastructure architecture in a global capacity (required).
- Capacity to handle complex troubleshooting issues (required).
- Proven ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively under pressure (required).
- Ability to contribute to organisational critical thinking beyond the area of responsibility (required).
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
