Sr Security Engineer (SIEM)
Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specialising in SIEM to drive the selection, testing, deployment, management, and operationalisation of security controls. The role involves applying cybersecurity engineering expertise to support corporate objectives and collaborating with cybersecurity operations to enhance security posture.
The successful candidate will develop conceptual and logical solutions for security deployments across endpoints, cloud environments, DevSecOps, and identity platforms. This position requires providing domain expertise on cybersecurity strategies and maintaining accurate reporting of security control status for executive management.
- Drive the selection, testing, deployment, management, maintenance, and operationalisation of Aristocrat security controls.
- Leverage strong expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP Configuration, Management & Monitoring.
- Apply cybersecurity engineering skills to support programs, proposals, and corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity operations to continuously improve security controls.
- Maintain accurate and effective reporting of security control status and usage to executive management.
- Develop conceptual and logical solutions to support the deployment of security controls in Aristocrat environments.
- Consult and collaborate with collaborators, asset owners, and IT teams to advance security initiatives across the enterprise.
- Define and apply security control settings for endpoints, cloud environments, DevSecOps, product security, and identity platforms.
- Provide domain expertise on cybersecurity strategies and find opportunities to optimise security controls.
- Stay informed on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats, making recommendations to improve Aristocrat’s security posture.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
- More than 10 years of relevant professional experience (required).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on building, implementation, and management of security solutions (required).
- Demonstrated experience working with a geographically dispersed team (required).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) platforms, data streaming platforms, network security, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems, Cloud Security, and Identity Access Management (IAM) principles (required).
- Advanced understanding of information security technologies, networking, cloud, and infrastructure architecture on an international scale (required).
- Proven ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively under pressure (required).
- Ability to contribute to organisational critical thinking beyond area of responsibility (required).
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Excellent collaboration skills; must be eager to work as part of a cohesive team and partner with other teams within Aristocrat, Inc., locally and globally (required).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present relevant data and information, actively listen, and resolve communication issues (required).
