BI Developer
The Business Intelligence team is based in Malta and operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days a week in the office. The team works alongside BI Developers, Data Engineers, Data Product Owners, and stakeholders from across the business. They partner with teams including Insights, Acquisition, Retention, Player Management, Operations, Finance, and Machine Learning to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive better business decisions.
As a BI Developer, the role involves transforming data into clear, actionable insights that help shape decisions across the global business. The individual will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, designing and developing dashboards and reports that provide real business value. This includes building scalable reporting solutions, monitoring and improving data quality, and identifying opportunities to optimise existing processes. The role also supports regulatory reporting and carries out ad-hoc analysis to ensure teams have the data they need to make informed decisions. Furthermore, the BI Developer will help evolve BI capabilities by contributing ideas, improving performance, and embracing new technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance reporting solutions.

- Experience in a Business Intelligence, BI Developer or similar analytics role (required).
- Strong SQL skills with experience working with relational databases (required).
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI or similar visualisation tools (required).
- Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, ideally Databricks (required).
- Experience translating business requirements into clear, user-friendly reporting solutions (required).
- Exposure to working in agile, fast-paced environments (nice-to-have).
- An interest in using AI tools to improve analytics, reporting and development workflows (required).
- A naturally curious mindset with a passion for solving problems through data (required).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences (required).
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business (required).
