HR Generalist
Bally's Interactive is looking for an HR Generalist to be the go-to HR person for its Jersey City office. In a fast-moving, highly regulated industry, the role involves recruiting the talent that keeps teams at the top of their game, managing employee licensing and registration with gaming regulators, and being the trusted, approachable resource that people turn to with questions.
With the full support of the HR North America team behind them, the HR Generalist will play a key role in building a strong, compliant, and engaged team on the ground.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for local teams with a focus on the Operations team.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand what great looks like, then go find it.
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, make hiring recommendations, and guide new hires through the offer stage.
- Build talent pipelines so the company is always a step ahead of its hiring needs.
- Track and monitor occupational licensure for the New Jersey team, including new applications, renewals, and status changes.
- Guide employees through licensing requirements so the process feels simple, not stressful.
- Spot risks early and work with the HR North America team to resolve them quickly.
- Answer everyday HR questions and connect employees with the right experts on the wider HR team.
- Handle HR admin with care, including employee records, documentation, and onboarding coordination.
- Team up with IT, office management, and local leaders to make every new hire’s first day a great one.
- Keep a pulse on how the office is feeling, and share what is being heard to help build an even better workplace.
- Full-cycle recruitment experience (required).
- Experience with occupational licensure and regulatory compliance (required).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills for employee records and documentation (required).
- Ability to partner with hiring managers and cross-functional teams (required).
- Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 USD.
