Senior Business Finance Analyst
The company is looking for an experienced Senior Business Finance Analyst to join the Finance team, with a focus on driving insight and decision-making across indirect costs. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, forecasting and reporting, providing valuable insights that help shape business decisions and improve performance.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, the analyst will play a key role in evaluating financial results, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring resources are aligned with business priorities. - Conducting in-depth financial analysis, focusing on indirect costs, margins, and key financial metrics.
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and trends.
- Ensuring accurate, timely financial data aligned with business goals.
- Supporting the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts.
- Assisting in the preparation of flash Adjusted EBITDAR, focusing on indirect costs and proper attribution.
- Monitoring budget performance and provide insights to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Analysing costs across business units and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Collaborating with departments to implement cost-saving initiatives and track outcomes.
- Partnering with senior management and functional teams to assess performance and drive improvements.
- Contributing to board-level presentations and reports on financial performance and outlook.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives for financial reporting and forecasting.
- Supporting automation efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- CPA designation or equivalent (required)
- Experience in business finance, financial analysis, or similar (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (required)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (required)
- Ability to present financial data and collaborate with senior leadership (required)
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- Oracle experience (nice-to-have)
