Frontend Software Developer, In-Play
Bet365 is looking for a Frontend Software Developer to join the In-Play sports platform team. The role involves shaping live sports experiences by developing sharp, scalable code for the flagship sports product. The developer will work on enhancing the product offering with innovative features, including real-time betting, live streaming, and match live services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering user-centric front-end experiences while developing low-latency and highly available solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenges beyond client-facing products and is eligible for the company's hybrid working policy.
- Implement new features across the existing site.
- Maintain and improve clean, maintainable code.
- Identify technical improvements that strengthen performance and quality.
- Support Software Product Owners with technical input and delivery context.
- Enhance the existing code base to support ongoing product development.
- Support the testing team during project testing phases.
- Contribute to solution proposals and delivery decisions.
- Create accurate work effort estimates for planned changes.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS (required).
- Experience building and maintaining user interfaces for complex, high-traffic products (required).
- Ability to design front end solutions that support low-latency and highly available services (required).
- Experience working with high volumes of transactions or real-time data (required).
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Golang, C#, .Net, Java, C++ or C (required).
- Experience working with Scrum or other agile software delivery methods (required).
- Understanding of CI systems, continuous build processes and developer tooling (required).
- Ability to assess technical trade-offs and contribute to practical solution design (required).
- Working knowledge of AI and how it can support software development (required).
