Head of In-House Games
As a Head of In-House Games, the individual will lead and execute the company's in-house games content strategy while driving growth and commercial success. This role requires a strategic and visionary leader with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and a proven track record in defining, developing, and executing an in-house games content strategy.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the overall games offering, ensuring it remains competitive and engaging for players by capitalising on market-leading innovation opportunities. This includes developing tailored content for specific player segments and localised content for key markets to maximise engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing in-house games team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identifying and securing new content avenues, through strategic partnerships, for the development of bespoke, exclusive and innovative game content.
- Overseeing the end-to-end development of high-quality, market-leading in-house games, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with commercial objectives.
- Defining, agreeing upon, and rigorously tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the in-house games portfolio, focusing on revenue contribution and player engagement.
- Monitoring and analysing game performance and player engagement metrics, proactively adjusting strategies for global and localised markets to optimise outcomes.
- Conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and untapped opportunities across gaming verticals, informing strategic decisions on content focus and innovation.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Commercial) to ensure seamless integration, effective go-to-market strategies, and cohesive player experiences.
- Managing exclusive content agreements with third-party providers and oversee the development of unique, platform-enhancing bespoke content.
- Driving innovation by fostering exploration of new concepts and ideas that align with the company's strategic vision and deliver market differentiation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial performance and deliver tangible results through innovative game content (required).
- Strong understanding of the global gaming market, including player behaviour, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics across various verticals (required).
