Management Accountant
Bet365 is seeking a Management Accountant to navigate complex markets and drive excellence within its South American operations. The South America Finance department is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of expanding operations across the region, overseeing the production of management and statutory accounts, and ensuring strict adherence to local regulatory frameworks and tax landscapes.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide vital support to the Senior Finance Manager regarding the management and statutory accounts function, with a specific focus on Brazilian operations and local ledgers. Working closely with the Brazilian Senior Accountant, the role involves producing and analysing accounts, navigating intricate tax environments, and establishing robust documentation processes.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for Brazilian entities.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review accounting entries.
- Compile accounts for the audit process.
- Calculate and review period end accruals and pre-payments.
- Maintain and develop Brazil-specific accounting and tax knowledge.
- Ensure financial records are filed in line with standards and legislation.
- AAT qualification or CIMA/ACCA part-qualification (required).
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (required).
- Keen eye for detail to identify anomalies (required).
- Ability to collaborate with advisors and internal stakeholders (required).
- Experience with complex tax regulations (required).
