Senior Full Stack Engineer-DTS

Description

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving the US Sports platform. The role involves building a team and trading platform to help establish the company as a leader in the US sports gambling industry.

As part of the team, the engineer will work on N-Tier distributed systems that process large volumes of data, particularly during high-profile sporting events where system resilience and stability are crucial to delivering an exceptional customer experience. The engineer will play an important role in shaping the success of the team.

Beyond technical excellence, the engineer will use their expertise to coach and onboard junior engineers, ensuring their smooth integration into the team through mentorship. Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders will help the team implement the architectural vision. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Responsibilities
  • Building scalable systems that guarantee quality and reliability under high demand.
  • Understanding existing bet365 systems and working with the architecture team to generate solutions for integration and improvement.

  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to support team members' professional development.

  • Adopting innovative technologies like our various in-house AI offerings.
  • Collaborating proactively with stakeholders and the team.
Requirements
  • Experience building up to date React applications using Typescript, advanced state management with frameworks like Redux and performance optimization/debugging (required).
  • Experience building microservices to power frontends (required).
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices for deploying APIs and services in live environments, ensuring robust release processes (required).
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools, and the integration of those practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (required).
  • Experience with modern pipelines and automation testing using tools such as GitHub actions or Jenkins (required).
  • Experience optimizing SQL queries to meet performance benchmarks (required).
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of contributing to a team and being a subject matter expert (required).
  • Focus on delivery and communication over process and manual documentation (required).
  • Autonomous, inquisitive technologist with a strong desire for continuous learning and innovation (required).
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring in technical subject areas (required).
Benefits
  • Compensation: USD 125,000 - USD 155,000 annually.
