Analytics Engineer
As an Analytics Engineer at Kaizen Gaming, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives, working on the silver and gold layers of our medallion architecture. Your role is integral to enhancing our four core elements: discoverability, security, quality, and data observability.
The role involves supporting stakeholders by applying reporting and analysis processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports. It also includes enhancing reporting and analysis processes by automating workflows or simplifying self-service modelling for stakeholders. The Analytics Engineer will translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, operational solutions that meet our high standards. Furthermore, the role requires adopting best practices in data modelling, ensuring data integrity, creating resilient test designs, and developing comprehensive documentation. The Analytics Engineer will develop and oversee efficient data transformation pipelines, utilising ETL/ELT processes.
- Support stakeholders by applying reporting and analysis processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.
- Enhance reporting and analysis processes by automating workflows or simplifying self-service modelling for stakeholders.
- Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, operational solutions that meet our high standards.
- Adopt best practices in data modelling, ensuring data integrity, creating resilient test designs, and developing comprehensive documentation.
- Develop and oversee efficient data transformation pipelines, utilising ETL/ELT processes.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex SQL code for data manipulation and reporting (required).
- 3+ years of experience in ETL/ELT and Reporting tools (required).
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (required).
- A continuous improvement mindset, with high attention to detail and commitment to quality (required).
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation is a plus (preferred).
- Familiarity with data modelling and data warehouse architecture is a plus (preferred).
- Familiarity with Azure services and Databricks is a plus (preferred).
