Lead of BI Analytics

Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 4-5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership, senior, or supervisory role
- Proven leadership and team mentorship experience in a BI or Data Analytics setting
- Expert proficiency in Python, SQL for data modeling, querying, and performance tuning for large, complex datasets
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and governing scalable BI solutions using major tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT methodologies, and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business strategy into actionable BI requirements and solutions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage concurrent BI projects and deadlines
- Strategic mindset with exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of BI Analysts on best practices, technical execution, and project management
- Define the strategic roadmap for the BI function, aligning it with company objectives and stakeholder needs
- Oversee the entire BI lifecycle, from complex requirement gathering and solution design to final delivery, adoption, and maintenance
- Lead high-level business and operational data analysis to provide strategic insights that drive critical business decisions
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and data quality across all BI dashboards and reports
- Design and optimize the core BI architecture, complex data models, and advanced ETL/ELT processes to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary consultant for cross-functional data initiatives
- Review and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines developed by the team
- Drive the evaluation and adoption of new BI tools, data visualization techniques, and advanced analytics technologies.
