Backend .NET Software Engineer - Gaming
Betsson Group is looking for an experienced Backend .NET/C# Engineer to join the Gaming Area within Product Development. The Gaming Area focuses on Game Play and Game Discovery across all brands and markets, aiming to offer the best gaming products and an exciting user experience. This area covers game lobbies, gaming initiatives, and provider integrations.
The Gaming platform is the core of Betsson Group's operations, supporting all gaming sites and being central to the company strategy. The role involves preparing the platform for containerisation, increasing system scalability, and maintaining high quality. The team constantly re-evaluates system design and works on new features to accommodate new requirements. The successful candidate will be part of a passionate team building an industry-leading, scalable, multi-brand platform to support over 25 online brands, used by hundreds of thousands of users and growing. The role aims to take the Gaming platform, used by a worldwide audience, to a new level.
- Prepare the Gaming platform for containerisation.
- Increase the scalability of systems while maintaining their high quality.
- Re-evaluate systems design to accommodate new requirements.
- Work on exciting new features.

- Previous experience as a backend developer (required)
- Relevant experience with core technical skills (required)
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core 8 (required)
- Experience with .NET Core Web API (required)
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (required)
- Knowledge of messaging services within a microservice architecture (required)
- Experience with GitHub and GitFlow Workflow branching strategy (required)
- Experience in an Agile environment (required)
- Confidence in both written and spoken English (required)
- Experience working with RabbitMQ/Kafka (nice-to-have)
- Experience with Docker containerisation (nice-to-have)
- Experience with Domain driven design (nice-to-have)
