Backend Software Engineer Team Lead
Betsson Group is looking for a Backend Engineering Team Lead to join the Campaigns and Rewards team in Malaga. Engagement at Betsson Group ensures customers return for more, focusing on loyalty and providing a world-class customer experience beyond gameplay, featuring Tournaments, Dynamic personalised campaigns, and much more.
As a Team Lead, the individual will lead a team of talented people and take overall responsibility for team performance. The Team Lead will take an active role in driving the delivery of their team and promoting a healthy team spirit and culture. The role also involves participating as a developer in designing and developing next-generation Engagement products for the iGaming industry.
- People management, mentoring and coaching developers.
- Taking part in recruiting and onboarding.
- Performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1’s.
- Close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
- Software development according to modern best practices and principles.
- Taking part in the decision-making process for design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture, and code review.
- Experience in software development for more than 5 years (required)
- Experience of managing teams of software engineers (required)
- Strong leadership and communication skills (required)
- Agile mindset, business goals orientation (required)
- Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core (required)
