Marketing Manager
Super Group Africa is seeking a Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving growth and market leadership in Ghana. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
The Marketing Manager will oversee the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative approaches, the successful candidate will create impactful and personalised customer experiences that support business objectives and strengthen the market position of Super Group Africa.

- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of marketing specialists, ensuring high performance and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Identify and resolve marketing-related challenges, using data and insights to drive effective business outcomes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to enhance customer experience, support product development, and achieve business objectives.
- Lead the delivery of marketing, product, and partnership initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard while proactively managing risks and bottlenecks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and creative teams to deliver successful partnerships and consistent, high-quality brand execution.
- Own brand planning, campaign calendars, and budget management.
- Monitor performance against KPIs, optimise ROI, and report on results against agreed targets.
- Develop and implement marketing and partnership strategies that drive brand growth, customer acquisition, retention, and commercial success.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant regulatory, compliance, and licensing requirements to ensure all marketing activities meet legal and industry standards.
- Ensure all marketing communications align with brand strategy, product priorities, customer needs, and regional opportunities.
- Support the delivery of relevant, engaging customer campaigns across all communication channels.
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategies and integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, and experiential channels.
- Translate consumer insights, market trends, and performance data into effective campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Support go-to-market strategies for new products, initiatives, and partnerships.
- Develop and execute country-specific marketing plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business performance, identifying opportunities to drive growth.
- Manage and optimise acquisition channels, including: Social, Digital, ATL & BTL Activations, Sponsorships.
- Drive customer retention strategies across markets.
- Oversee customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey initiatives.
- Support VIP and high-value customer programmes.
- Develop promotional and offer strategies to maximise engagement and customer value.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (nice-to-have).
- 5-10 years' experience in end-to-end marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns (required).
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset, with the ability to develop marketing strategies, drive growth, manage budgets, and optimise ROI (required).
- In-depth understanding of consumer behaviour, brand development, positioning, and go-to-market strategy (required).
- Proven experience leading marketing strategy across multiple channels and markets (required).
- African market experience (preferred).
- Excellent analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to measuring and optimising performance (required).
- Experience managing agencies, external partners, and diverse stakeholder groups across different levels of an organisation (required).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills, both written and verbal (required).
- Excellent project management, planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results (required).
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences (required).
- Highly computer literate, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in fast-paced environments (required).
- Ability and willingness to travel within African markets when required (required).
- Experience within online gaming, sports betting or a highly regulated industry (nice-to-have).
- Experience across multiple African markets (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of gaming regulations and compliance requirements (nice-to-have).
- Experience in sports, entertainment or digital-first consumer brands (nice-to-have).
