Case Filing Specialist
The Solvy business is developing a full-cycle online platform for working with legal, financial, and personal documents. The Case Filing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and preparing legal documents for submission to the court. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and adherence to specific state and county requirements.
The position is a remote, full-time role. The hours of work are from 15:00 to 23:00, 16:00 to midnight, or from 00:00 to 08:00.
- Thoroughly review legal documents completed by clients for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to specific state and county requirements.
- Identify and correct potential errors or inconsistencies in documents according to internal protocols.
- Format and finalize document packages for submission to the court.
- Timely and accurately submit the prepared document packages to the appropriate US courts.
- Track the status of filed documents and register all updates in the internal case management system.
- Provide clients with clear and concise instructions regarding necessary corrections, signatures, or additional documents.
- Answer clients' questions about the procedural steps, process, and the status of their case (without providing legal advice).
- Maintain professional and empathetic communication with clients via email, chat, or phone.
- Actively utilize the internal Knowledge Base, which contains procedures, requirements, and specifics of the divorce process across various states.
- Continuously update knowledge regarding changes in legislation or filing procedures in different jurisdictions (based on provided updates).
- Operate internal software and tools for case and document management.
- Strong command of English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher) to communicate effectively with clients across chats and emails (required).
