QA Engineer
ComeOn Group is looking for a QA Engineer to join the team and ensure the quality and performance of the online sportsbook platform. The role involves testing new features, identifying issues, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver a seamless betting experience for users.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for developing and executing manual and automated test cases for sportsbook functionalities, including betting markets, odds updates, in-play events, and risk management. The role requires performing functional, regression, and performance testing across the sportsbook backend and frontend while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
- Take full responsibility for developing and executing manual and automated test cases for sportsbook functionalities, including betting markets, odds updates, in-play events and risk management.
- Creation of test strategies, test plans, test schedules, sign-off documents with focus and maintenance of quality standards and validation techniques.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA (or similar tools).
- Perform functional, regression and performance testing across our sportsbook backend and frontend.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
- Validate data accuracy, betting calculations, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum framework to support sprint releases.
- 7+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in sports betting, gaming, or fintech (required)
- Strong understanding of sportsbook platforms, betting markets, and in-play event handling (required)
- Experience with SQL for data validation (preferred)
- Experience with API/swagger (preferred)
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) (preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins) (preferred)
- Passion for sports betting and an understanding of customer behaviours (preferred)
- Hands-on testing (Functional, Integration and UI) (preferred)
- Experience with JIRA and TestRail or similar test management tools (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks (preferred)
- Experience working in a high-traffic, real-time gaming or betting environment (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in regulated markets (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) (nice-to-have)
- REST-API testing using RestAssured or Postman (nice-to-have)
