Senior AML Analyst
ComeOn Group is looking for a Senior AML Analyst to drive compliance, manage transaction monitoring, and lead Enhanced Due Diligence investigations. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert to ensure operations align with multi-jurisdictional licensing obligations and internal risk appetites.
The successful candidate will oversee complex investigations, conduct reviews of unusual player activity, and draft high-quality Suspicious Transaction Reports. The position requires a strategic approach to enhancing AML/CFT procedures and mentoring junior team members to drive operational excellence.
- Act as an advanced Subject Matter Expert on AML/CFT frameworks, ensuring operations continuously align with multi-jurisdictional licensing obligations and internal risk appetites.
- Oversee complex investigations, conduct thorough reviews of unusual player activity, and draft high-quality Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) for direct submission to the MLRO.
- Conduct and oversee ongoing transaction and behavioural monitoring, identifying emerging high-risk typologies, affordability red flags, and complex financial crime patterns.
- Lead deep-dive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations, setting the benchmark for rigorous Source of Funds (SoF) and Source of Wealth (SoW) verification standards.
- Lead complex investigations into PEP screenings, sanctions matches, and adverse media, ensuring precise risk scoring and timely, decisive resolutions.
- Proactively contribute to the enhancement of the company’s AML/CFT procedures, automated detection rules, and player affordability assessment frameworks.
- Guide, mentor, and contribute to the upskilling of junior team members through regular Quality Assurance (QA) reviews, KPI analysis, and feedback loops to drive operational excellence.
- Partner closely with the MLRO on ad-hoc regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and compliance projects across the group.
- Minimum 3+ years of AML/CFT experience within the iGaming or Financial Services sector, with a proven track record of handling high-risk cases and regulatory complexities (required).
- Expert knowledge of international AML/CFT frameworks, sanctions compliance, and risk mitigation strategies (required).
- Exceptional analytical acumen with a natural investigative instinct, capable of autonomously identifying patterns, connecting disparate data points, and conducting deep-dive risk assessments (required).
- A passion for guiding, mentoring, and upskilling junior analysts, as well as providing constructive feedback through QA frameworks (required).
- Strategic problem-solver with an affinity for automation and compliance tech, capable of leveraging emerging tools to optimise detection rules and streamline monitoring workflows (required).
- Native-level or fluent professional English (written and verbal), with the ability to translate complex information clearly and in a concise manner (required).
