Senior Java Developer
ComeOn Group is looking for a Java developer to help build the best gambling site on the Internet. The developer will work with all parts of the system and all stages of the development process in a team-oriented environment. This includes integrations with external systems, the development of internal components and subsystems, and potentially also frontend development for mobile and desktop devices.
The role also involves reading code written over 15 years by around 60 developers, and finding manageable paths to modernise it in risk-adverse increments. The developer will work closely together with the business side of the organisation to develop and implement new features.

- Deep experience in using Java (required).
- Understand that reading code is more difficult than writing code (required).
- Approximately 6+ years of previous work experience (required).
- Experience with web application/service development (required).
- SQL knowledge (required).
- Know how to get legacy code under test (required).
- Be curious and willing to discuss and exchange knowledge with team members (required).
- Be a communicative member of an agile delivery team consisting of Devs, QAs and PO (required).
- Fluent in written and spoken English (required).
- Experience with Tomcat, Maven, Spring, MongoDB, Guava, Guice, MySQL, Nginx, Linux, Jenkins, and GIT, docker, Kubernetes, gcloud (nice-to-have).
