IT Support Technician
The IT Support Technician will be required to provide professional technical support to meet the needs of the organisation.
This role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting user workstations and laptops on the company infrastructure. It also includes ensuring the correct software is loaded onto user machines before delivery and utilising Intune, understanding its processes and general functionality.
The technician will provide front-line desktop support via chat or Jira Service Management requests, troubleshoot problems using Teams, in-person, and remote desktop technologies, and monitor company infrastructure, escalating alerts on systems like Grafana, Kibana, and Nagios.
Responsibilities also include managing Office365, Exchange on-prem, and Exchange365 environments, administering Microsoft Entra and Active Directory, and managing user rights via group membership changes. Support for corporate and call centre applications, troubleshooting, and issue escalation are also key duties.
Further tasks involve diagnosing and fixing hardware problems, replacing hardware parts, and managing printers, networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hard drives, and laptop internals. A keen learner, the technician should be able to apply new technologies and methods as they become available.
- Installing, Configuring, Maintaining and Troubleshooting of user workstations, laptops on company infrastructure.
- Ensuring correct software is loaded onto the user’s machine before delivery.
- The use of Intune and the understanding of the processes and general functionality of it.
- Front Line Desktop Support via Chat Support or Jira Service Management initiated requests
- Troubleshoot problems via Teams, in-person remote desktop technologies
- Company Infrastructure monitoring and proper escalation of alerts on systems like Grafana, Kibana and Nagios
- Office365, Exchange on-prem and Exchange365 experience.
- Microsoft Entra and Active Directory administration.
- User Rights Management via group membership changes in Active Directory and Entra
- Corporate and Call Centre applications support, troubleshooting and issue escalation.
- Ability to diagnose and fix Hardware problems, ability to replace hardware parts.
- Exposure and knowledge of Printers, Networks, WI-FI, Bluetooth, Hard-drives and laptop internals.
- Good knowledge of Dell products.
- Keen learner, able to apply new technologies /methods as they become available.

- IT Qualification in A+ and AZ-900 (required)
- 2-3 years’ experience providing corporate end user desktop support (required)
- 2-3 years’ experience supporting Windows workstations and laptops (installation, configuration, troubleshooting) (required)
- 2-3 years’ experience administering Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, including user and group management (required)
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (required)
- Ability to work shifts (required)
- Further qualifications in MCSE, N+ or Intune or Azure (nice-to-have)
- Experiencing in monitoring of systems (nice-to-have)
