Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer

Description

Super Group is looking for a Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer to support the delivery of ERP and Cube Reporting solutions. This role focuses on providing a platform that enables the business to work efficiently and maintain a competitive edge through advanced data analysis and system development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining models, developing user interfaces, and ensuring the integration of new data sources. The role requires a proactive approach to system improvement, troubleshooting complex queries, and mentoring team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test and deploy multidimensional cubes, rules and ETL processes.
  • Maintain existing TM1 Models.
  • Develop user interfaces for capturing data, including the development and maintenance of PAW reports.
  • Provide post-deployment support and maintenance, including the creation of technical and how-to documentation.
  • Integrate new sources of data into relevant processes and push data to necessary tools.
  • Manage users and permissions.
  • Monitor server performance.
  • Provide user training.
  • Continually search for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyse data relevant to the company’s business model.
  • Find ways to, on a continuous basis, improve processes within current systems.
  • Take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving of problematic and complex user queries.
  • Translate client requests into technical requirements, creating comprehensive project roadmaps and ensuring this is executed as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Be involved in defining development best practices and applying them to the larger team.
  • Teach and mentor colleagues and junior members within the team, upskilling and investing time in their skill set and success.
  • Support end users with the IBM Planning Analytics (TM1, PAX, PAW) system.
Requirements
  • At least 3 or more years of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) development experience in a Finance environment (required).
  • Undergraduate degree (or substantial progress towards one) with majors in Information Systems/Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar. Alternatively, at least 3 years work experience in a business intelligence role will be considered (required).
  • Considerable knowledge and experience with cube technology (required).
  • Considerable knowledge and experience with dimensional modeling (required).
  • Considerable knowledge and experience with PA, PAW and PAX (required).
  • Considerable knowledge and experience with OLAP tools (required).
  • Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, graphs, Get Data from different source) (required).
  • Conceptualizing new solutions based on business requirements (required).
  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (nice-to-have).
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (nice-to-have).
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (nice-to-have).
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of financial accounting (nice-to-have).
  • SQL knowledge (nice-to-have).
  • VBA knowledge (nice-to-have).
  • Python knowledge (nice-to-have).
  • Cloud connectivity or computing experience (nice-to-have).
  • Experience solving complex problems using data analysis (nice-to-have).
