Senior Business Analyst
Super Group International is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a key part in delivering business and technology solutions that align stakeholder needs with strategic objectives. The role involves translating current-state processes into future-state capabilities, facilitating workshops, and eliciting and analysing requirements.
The successful candidate will engage with business and technology stakeholders to document business and functional requirements, map current and future state processes, validate solutions, and support delivery teams. This position is responsible for driving requirements through to implementation, ensuring that business and technology solutions are delivered effectively.
- Act as a thought leader within the Business Analysis team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Influence strategic decision-making by presenting well-structured analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit, prioritise, and validate complex business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Prioritise requirements and ensure clarity and feasibility of user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Analyse current business processes, systems, and data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
- Recommend innovative solutions to address complex business challenges and deliver measurable value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and external partners.
- Provide timely updates on project task progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and negotiation to align diverse stakeholder interests.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including process maps, data flows, and system designs.
- Create visual aids such as wireframes, mockups, or prototypes to clarify requirements.
- Ensure that all documentation is up to date, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards.
- Support testing efforts by creating detailed acceptance criteria and validating delivered functionality against requirements.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address feedback to ensure successful handover.
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required).

- Business Analysis Diploma, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, BSc, B.com, B.Bus Sci or equivalent (required).
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (required).
- Expertise in writing detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria (required).
- Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart (required).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights (required).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and driving measurable business outcomes (required).
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (nice-to-have).
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (nice-to-have).
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (nice-to-have).
- Experience in leading enterprise-wide transformation projects (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and cloud computing (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and tools for prototyping and journey mapping (nice-to-have).
