SEO Specialist

Description

The role focuses on driving organic traffic to company websites through hands-on work with Search, Answer, and Generative Engine optimisation, as well as LLM optimisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in executing SEO strategies, managing content production, and ensuring websites remain competitive. This position requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously to identify growth opportunities and improve SEO KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting regular visual SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities for improving all SEO KPIs.
  • Briefing content creation to internal and external content providers and ensuring returned content is of a high quality.
  • Conducting website crawls through Screaming Frog to ensure that website is SEO-friendly and identifying areas where mandatory SEO fields are missing or require fixing/optimisation.
  • Developing a deep knowledge of SEO Content creation.
  • Ensuring planned SEO activities and content supports the SEO strategy and is aligned with the content roadmap.
  • Executing the identified SEO optimisation strategies which will drive SEO KPIs for your brand sites.
  • Implementing identified site maintenance EG broken links, site cleanup, duplicate content, etc.
  • Keeping relevant stakeholders updated, letting stakeholders know where SEO projects and content production stands.
  • Maintaining tracking and analysing success of content growth and SEO activities based on KPI growth.
  • Performing Content QCs, uploads, and publishing via our CMS.
  • Performing ongoing on-site content optimisation including interlinking, meta data etc.
  • Researching competitors’ backlink, blog, and link bait strategies to identify linking opportunities.
  • Setting up URL structures and site matrices according to the existing site structure and best SEO practices.
  • Taking a proactive approach in SEO content creation, working autonomously to identify opportunities to drive SEO performance.
  • Tracking delivery of content and requested materials.
  • Understanding a brand's goals and objectives and applying creative thinking to develop SEO project and content growth ideas.
  • Updating, refreshing, and optimising existing content on websites using keyword placement and internal linking.
  • Working with Technical SEOs to understand what optimisations are needed to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, graphs, and formulas (required)
  • Previous experience and knowledge in Digital Marketing and SEO (required)
  • Website development understanding and a working knowledge of basic HTML (required)
  • Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Organizational Culture (required)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an SEO Specialist (required)
  • Working knowledge of ranking and financial reports and systems (required)
  • Able to perform Onsite and technical QCs (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of online casino and sports betting markets, including casino game rules, odds calculation, betting types and market trends (nice-to-have)
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress) (nice-to-have)
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Search Console (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with SEMRush/Ahrefs/Data Studio/Screaming Frog (nice-to-have)
  • Relevant qualification (nice-to-have)
  • Project management experience (nice-to-have)
