Software Engineer (Front-End)

Description

The company is seeking a Software Engineer (Front-End) to contribute to the development of a high-frequency, social entertainment platform. The role involves building and iterating on web-based frontend systems, creating reactive interfaces for original games, and integrating complex social features. The engineer will work within a fast-paced environment, focusing on rapid deployment, testing, and continuous optimisation based on real-time player behaviour.

The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver landing pages, lobby systems, and game user interfaces that drive user engagement and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Build and iterate on the WTF Games frontend (web).
  • Create fast, reactive interfaces for original games, social features, and live interactions.
  • Integrate with Elantil (wallet, games, APIs).
  • Use Directus CMS to power dynamic content, campaigns, and experiments.
  • Ship landing pages, lobby systems, and game UIs at high velocity.
  • Implement tracking, postbacks, and behavioural analytics.
  • Continuously optimise UX based on real user behaviour (conversion, retention, engagement).
Requirements
  • Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required).
  • A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross-functional teams to hit shared goals (required).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball (required).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work (required).
  • Adaptability, staying sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments (required).
  • Strong experience with React / Next.js (or similar modern FE stack) (required).
  • Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Directus, Contentful, Sanity, etc.) (required).
  • Comfortable integrating APIs, real-time data, and event-driven systems (required).
  • Ability to move fast with incomplete specs and shifting priorities (required).
  • Strong product instinct, caring about how things perform, not just how they look (required).
  • Experience in iGaming, crypto, social products, or high-frequency apps (nice-to-have).
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions (nice-to-have).
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (nice-to-have).
